Experience
Our founder and managing attorney, Jeffrey T. Donner, is an attorney and counselor at law who has practiced law in Florida for over a quarter of a century.
While he takes pride in carefully fulfilling his role as a counselor at law, which often saves clients money, Mr. Donner also enjoys being a strong advocate for his clients when necessary. He is a trial lawyer who has been aggressively protecting clients’ rights and winning cases in Florida since 1999.
Born and raised in central Florida, Mr. Donner is an honors graduate of the University of Florida’s College of Law, where he edited the Florida Law Review. Based in Miami since 2002, Mr. Donner can handle any dispute in any court, tribunal, or decision-making body in Florida, including all state and federal courts, bankruptcy court, local government special master or “hearing officer” proceedings, arbitrations, mediations, proceedings before government bodies such as the city commission, county commission, zoning board, planning board, or an executive agency with permitting or licensing authority (e.g., Florida Department of Environmental Protection), and administrative law judge cases (e.g., environmental permit challenges).
Mr. Donner has helped people solve a wide range of legal problems in Florida for more than 26 years. For example, he has successfully represented clients in the fields of complex commercial litigation and business contract disputes, property damages and insurance coverage litigation, class actions and multi-district litigation, Federal Tort Claims Act law, criminal defense, environmental permitting and regulatory law, construction delay and defects litigation, products liability and mass torts, divorce and family law, bankruptcy, elder law, guardianship/incapacity, probate proceedings, estate planning, immigration, real estate, and local government and administrative law.
Mr. Donner is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Florida, the Bankruptcy Court of the Southern District of Florida, the Bankruptcy Court of the Middle District of Florida, and the federal Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
